Easter Egg Hunt

On Saturday the church we attend had an Easter Egg Hunt. It was done so that the whole community could come. It was such a success! There were over 600 people who attended.

At one point Savannah warmed my heart and made me so proud. There was a little boy (he was probably somewhere just shy of 2) who was crying. Savannah asked his mom if he was crying because he did not get any eggs. His mom said he got a couple. Savannah handed him one of hers. (She only had 6 herself). She said that maybe this would make him feel better. He did stop crying. The mom looked at me and said that it looks like someone is raising her right. I certainly hope so, we are trying. She really is a very giving child..I could not be prouder of her than I was then!
